OUR STORY

Our inspiration came during a backpacking trip through the mountain ranges of  Vermont. The litter on the trails and infrequent patrols on trails helped foster the idea for a drone-oriented cleanup.

OUR METHODS

We utilize trash detection software which is trained in over 30 different textures, colors, and sizes of trash. Paired with the waypoint feature, the drone flies through parks and trails, detecting litter and creating a map of large trash clusters. 

Our partners

Through partnerships we continue to monitor and preserve our nature. All donations, money raised through fundraising, and volunteer efforts go to monitoring large areas of land in efforts to keep them trash-free.

Our Projects

Through partnerships and our conservation methods, we have implemented the EccoDrone project in parks and beaches around Chicago, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Ohio. We plan to expand our project on a national (and international) scale. See how we use drone technology in environmental conservation.
